What I offer

Every client and every garden is different. Some of my clients prefer a light touch approach, some require more active management, and some even like us to get involved together so that they learn with friendly guidance.

And your gardening needs might change over time too. For example, some of my client relationships go back years, while for others I simply help lighten the load when it comes to holiday care or during unfortunate periods of short-term illness.

Planting and regular maintenance

Regular maintenance of beds, borders, shrubs and lawns. Renovation of existing beds with replanting and the addition of new elements to your garden. Help and advice, including how to best use the greenhouse to raise additional plants for your garden.

Vegetable growing at home to provide extra food for the table, shows and competitions, or just for fun! Getting the family involved in food provenance can be very rewarding.

Wildflowers and wildlife

Creating spaces for wildflowers or naturalised bulbs is a great way of encouraging wildlife and diversity into the garden. Wildflower areas can give you incredible interest as the mix of flowers change over the season. I can guide the creation of your wildflower area, and even supply suitable flower mixes for your soil and situation.

Regular sessions are usually booked for durations of 2 – 4 hours at the rate of £30 per hour. Durations can vary according to the project, what needs to be done, and the season.

Smaller gardens may benefit from a regular one hour slot at the rate of £35.

Dog friendly! As an experienced dog owner I am happy to combine regular weekday garden visits with letting your dog out into the garden – giving you a tidy garden and a happy dog when you get home!

Garden sitting service. Illness, recovery from surgery, temporary incapacity, unexpected responsibilities are all facts of life – and, more happily, as are holidays too! For the times when you are not able to look after your beloved garden, I offer a garden sitting service that will keep your plants watered, lawns cut and the garden ticking over for when you are ready to return.
